CHAIRMAN, BUDDY BURKHART

Vice-Chair Janis Crye was elected in February of 2023 along with the Chairman and all other executive committee members.

Born and raised in Knoxville.  Member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church, graduated from The University of Tennessee with a degree in Accounting.  Worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), with my last position as the Manager of Planning and Budgeting.  Retired from TVA in 2008 after 37 years.  Married to Robert G. (Bob) Crye.  We have two daughters, Kristen who has a daughter Zoe, and Laura, who is married to our son-in-law David, and they have two daughters Lena and Ella.  Currently, I am on the Board of Directors for the Halls Crossroads Women's League, a non-profit organization, a group of women with a desire to serve the Halls Community.  I have served as Treasurer for Beaver Dam Baptist Church, the Halls Crossroads Women's League, and am currently Treasurer of the Halls Republican Club.  In my spare time, I am enrolled in a Bible Study at my Church and play tennis.
